About Marissa
Marissa Feldman isn’t your ordinary photographer. With her camera in hand, she sets out to capture what she finds beautiful in the world through her own perspective, whether that be in a nature setting, a city abroad or from the comfort of her own home. Her passion for art derives from her father who would always take pictures of the family and their travels while she was growing up. Through this, she learned to appreciate the beauty of capturing a moment through the lens of a camera and quickly grew fond of the art of photography.
In 2013, she began taking photography classes in high school and grew to love the field even more. These classes opened doors for her to learn more about editing and allowed her to expand her creativity through programs like Photoshop and Lightroom. In college, Marissa continued down her path in photography and moved to Japan after graduating from Michigan State University in 2019, developing a new found love for wildlife photography while there.
Now back in the United States, Marissa is pursuing her passion full time as a freelance photographer. She loves being able to portray a story through her work, capturing her own feelings in that moment through every shot in hopes that those feelings will be shared with the world.
